Scupper – Flowing and Reflective

Create tranquil and engaging spaces with the Solus concrete water bowls. The Scupper water bowl combines mechanically formed metal with smooth hand cast concrete. These formal elements are brought to life by the movement and sound of falling water.

Entering from a central opening in the bottom of the concrete bowl, water fills the vessel creating a deep pool that spills out through the reflective channel of the scupper. The polished metal and cascading water combine to create visually interesting reflections as light plays over their surfaces.

Scupper with box

The Scupper with Box is a self contained system for those situations where a ‘plug and play’ operation is preferred. The 26” Scupper comes with a matching concrete box and the 36” Scupper comes with a stainless steel box.

Water Dome

These water bowls feature polished metal domes that appear to float inside of concrete vessels. Water flows up through the center of each dome to run over the reflective surface of the hand-spun metal. This then drops off the edges into the surrounding water creating light, flowing sound.  Hemispherical concrete bowls provide a solid aesthetic counterpoint to the shine of the domes and the fluidity of the water while functioning as impermeable containers. The simplicity of these water features – they are totally self contained and require no exterior plumbing! Just an electrical point.  The pump comes with a 20 foot cable  Appropriate for use indoors or outdoors  for residential and commercial installations.

Each of our large format concrete panels is poured and finished by hand resulting in pieces that are unique. Installed in multiples they create a surface that is organic and substantial with a modern, ‘slightly imperfect’ structure. Available in a ten colours and a range of sizes our concrete panels, tiles and slabs can be configured to suit a wide variety of situations and aesthetics.

• Our tiles are distinguished by their clean, chamfered edges, smooth, lightly undulating surfaces, complex colour and by the variation between pieces.
• We use high performance, fibre re-enforced concrete which is strong, durable and flame resistant.
